Galaxy Q locked screen

Hi all,

The screen and keyboard on my Galaxy Q are locked because of too many attempts on the unlocking pattern.

Now it is asking me username and password for google account to unlock but it does not work since the wifi is disabled and I cannot enable it.

Any one can help ???

Hey everyone!

Although this thread quite old, I'd like to update it since I came across it. If something like this ever happens to you, be aware that you also have the option of doing a factory reset. For the Galaxy Q, to be able to do a factory reset of the phone without accessing the menu you need to:

- Press and hold the Power key and the T key on the QWERTY keyboard until you see Android system recovery screen.

- Press Volume DOWN key to select wipe data / factory reset and then the Power key to select.

- Press the Volume down to select Yes - factory reset

- Press the Power key.
- Press the Volume down to scroll to Reboot system now.
- Press the Power key again

Hope it helps!

Hi there  dounga58,

The only option left would be to contact us and activate a temporary data service to your account
