Free unlock for phone purchased perior September?

I have 2 phones purchased directly from Fido at full retail price. I am aware that only phone purchased at full price after September will get free unlocking now. Do phones purchased perior September get free unlocking after December 1 or I still have to pay $50 unlocking fee after December?

You are correct, phones purchased before September 1-2017 will be eligible to be unlocked for free after December 1-2017.
