Fraud Department Procedure

Hey guys,

Posting here because I'm still unsure and feel at risk. I was scammed in early august, only realized someone had used my account to ship (and pick up) a brand new S8 about 3 weeks ago.

First thing I did was call Fido, they open a fraud case said Iwill hear back in 24h. I called back 2 days later they now said 72h. The next week I called them a lot and eventually they did call me back to say it was deemed I was victim of fraud.

I was told I would be receiving a check through mail; How long does this take? Am I really going to get my money back? I didn't receive any tracking or confirmation email regarding this and I guess I'm just a bit sketched out.
