Just to satisfy my curiosity, I tried to send a text from my account page. It asks me to log in and once I have, I am taken to the Fido home page? What gives?

Hey lindam,
It can be found under Shop > Add-ons > Messaging > Text from the Web
Hello,
I forgot my password so I had it sent to my e-mail.
When I entered the password, the prompt at the log-in screen said that my "credentials are invalid".
I tried to create another account with my e-mail and when I entered the validation code, it said that the account already exists.
I've lost my phone so this is the only way I can text my contacts. Is there any way to reset my account?
Thanks.
hello Trinhl
Yes, you can definitely request a Temporary password to be sent to you by email by contacting Fido Customer Service 1-888-481-3436 since you have lost your phone; that's the option that is guarantee to work.
Once you have received the password please do change it to something you can easily remember. The link to change the password is find at the bottom left corner of your Home profile page.
hope this help.
My problem is similar to TrinhL which is why I am posting here. I had a Web-Text account for over a year, used infrequently. I will be travelling soon, so I went to test it, but it said my credentials were invalid. I asked for a password refresh which it promptly sent, confirming I had the correct password. I kept trying in both Firefox and IE without success. I spent over half an hour on the Fido CHAT line only to find out that the rep (Iso) was not aware of Web-Text nor could he find out anything about it. I tried creating a new account with two different emails I have access to, but never got the validation email, despite checking my spam folders.
Is this system still functional?
How can I get some help to gain access.
John from Ontario
OOPS, the validation messages just showed up. Please delete the above posting. John
