Your device must be compatible with the Fido network, which uses GSM, UMTS, HSPA and HSPA+ at 850 MHz and 1900 MHz. To access LTE network, the phone must be compatible with:

  • 700 MHz on Band 17;
  • 1700/2100 MHz on Band 4;
  • 2600 MHz on Band 7.

Hello KTS617,

  Judging by those specifications, that phone would have all of the compatible bands/frequencies for 2G and '3G'. With regards to LTE, that phone would have at least one of the compatible bands/frequencies, 2600MHz (or band 7). Since no band information is listed, it is not possible to say with certainty whether the phone would also be compatible on the 700 MHz frequency. You can verify the compatible bands/frequencies here. While I have not found any specification listings which include the band information for a version with those frequencies, this listing from PDAdb shows a different version (presumably) with different band/frequencies.

  So it's possible the phone could have two of the compatible LTE band/frequencies.

  The phone should have no issues accessing the 2G or '3G' networks. However, coverage on the LTE networks would depend on the bands/frequencies of the surrounding towers since bands 7, 12, and  17 are not as widely used as band 4.

  Hope this helps Smiley

Cheers

**note to mods** The 'How to configure..' page should be updated to include band 12 (700 MHz) in some provinces.
