Hello,

 

I tried going into a Fido store on black friday and the system was down / working slow, so there was a huge lineup of people.  I was assured that I would be able to get similar deals on another day, so I gave up and left.

 

Now Fido is offering the 10GB plan.  I started by trying to go into a Fido store, but there was a 2-hour lineup.  So I tried online, but the website isn't working.  So I tried calling Fido and was on hold for an hour before they dropped my call.  

 

Super frustrating!  I have been a loyal customer for years, but this level of customer service (or lack thereof) is getting intolerable.  Tomorrow if I encounter yet another huge lineup at the Fido store, I will head head nextdoor and switch carriers.

How could they not foresee the increased volume when they started this price way?  I can sort of understand lineups in stores and even overwhelmed call centers, but their website not working seems pretty incompetent.  For a communications company, you'd think they'd be better at communicating!

it is really bad ... its even worst for me since i am deployed overseas and cant use my phone to call, website doesnt work and they dont answer the phone .. going to a store is sadly far from an option for me ... been a customer for 8 years and if i cant get it i will mmost likely switch carrier , most of the guys out here managed to get it thru other carrier

Would it be possible to put oneself on an "upgrade list"? As the customer support is understandably bombarded, it seems like it would make sense for customers to have an option for a call back at a later date, to be able to essentially reserve a plan before the offer expires.

 

I'm in the same boat as many of the people on here, been trying to upgrade for a few days now with no luck.

this is a joke, ive been trying to change my plan to the promotional 10gb$60/mo for 3 days!!! Went to the store, asked me to call customer service, tried changing plan online, chat support. Social media. ALL NOT WORKING! THAT IS SO AGGRAVATING. IVE WASTED MY TIME TRYING TO GET IT DONE. What a waste.
