I have been using FIDO prepaid mobile services for 5 years; unfortunately, I lost 140CAD balance yesterday because I checked my balance 1 day late.
It will be much better if FIDO will send notification (SMS and email) that prepaid balance expires soon.
Thanks for good service FIDO, I had no complains except silent balance expiration– if not that, I would continue to refill my and my wife accounts annually (200CAD), but now I am thinking to transfer my canadian FIDO numbers to US voip provider; for short visits to Canada I will use foreign SIM.

Hi @aminin!
Welcome to the Community!
Thanks a lot for the feedback, I'll forward it to the team in charge of our prepaid service.
Regarding your balance, it's not completely lost. We always give you a grace period of 7 days after your expiration date.
If you refill within those 7 days, you get to keep your prepaid balance.
Make sure to refill your line quickly in order to keep your balance active!

Thanks a lot, FidoManual for good advice! You just saved one more FIDO client.
I refilled 100 CAD and now my balance recovered from 0 to 236.
PS I am working offshore now but I want to keep my mobile number (visiting Canada periodically) – prepaid FIDO is good match for my needs; later I will switch to monthly plan.
