Defective Phone Exchange

My phone won't read my sim card. I've tried again and again but it just doesn't work. Can I get it exchanged? It's only been a few days since I bought it.

If your phone is defective, you have 15 days to exchange it for the same model.

If you want to exchange it for a different model (that also includes different colors and capacity of the same model) or want to return it, you must be within 15 days since purchase and have used no more than 30 minutes of talk-time on it.

I lost the extra ear buds that came with it but have all the other accessories will that be a problem?
