I hit my 2Gb data limit and get a text offering me an extra 1GB of data for $15 which I accept. Only later I find out the normal charge on my plan is $10 for an extra 1GB of data. It's just $5 but feel utterly scammed.
Next I see that I can change my plan online to another one that's exactly the same monthly price but gives me 3Gb/mo instead of 2Gb/mo. Okay, but wait. There's a $200+ 'downgrade' fee to switch plans. Now I'm just ready to find another carrier.
Hey @jkrogh,
Welcome to our Community!
Depending on your current plan, it's possible that a downgrade fee applies when trying to change your plan to a different one. If the new plan is part of a different plan category that gives access to a lower subsidy than the one you received on your phone, a downgrade fee will apply.
I'd love to take a closer look into this as well as the data situation with you
I'll send you a PM shortly!
