Connection dropped suddenly

I signed up with Fido about three weeks ago. I bought a new SIM card from Fido online, and I use my own phone (Galaxy S4 i9500 (non-LTE)).

 

Has anyone experienced being disconnected suddenly in the middle of the conversation? This has happened to me three times, during the day, in the evening and late at night. Once it disconnected twice within the course of 5 minutes.

 

This happened both in the streets and in my condo in North York. The phone had 4/4 bars of signal strength during the incidents.

If you have full service bars and are well within the coverage area, this shouldn't be happening. It could be related to the fact that you have an unlocked phone. Have you tested your SIM in a Fido phone to see if it makes a difference?
