In 12th December, I sent an e-mail to message.web@fidomobile.ca requesting the termination because this address was referred in the Fido Terms and Conditions. Two days later, Fido sent me another message, but I haven't noticed until now.
The key point is that I have requested the cancellation because I was leaving Canada. Is there another manner to cancel the service besides the call to 1-888-481-3436? A friend of mine can cancel it on my behalf?

We don't offer cancellation by email or chat. Also, only the account holder can cancel the line so you wouldn't be able to have a friend do this on your behalf.. You can reach out to us on Facebook or Twitter to process this request for you if you're not able to call us!
