Can't send text messages from home but can receive them

I can only receive text messages but I can't send them. I've restarted my phone and pulled that battery and sim. This has happened before but usually corrects itself. Please help. Thank you.

Are you unable to send text messages to any number, or only specific numbers?

Lastly, are you using a Fido phone or an unlocked phone?
