Can't connect to data bytes

I am trying to access data bytes but it tells me I am not connected to the fido network. I know I am connected to it though as I am on the bus using my data, not wifi.
How can I fix this so I can use the one free hour??

Were you able to get Data Bytes to activate? 

What tests did you try? Did you reboot your phone or make sure that data was activated under your phone's network settings?
