My husband can't access his my account or his online account. We changed our numbers a while ago and he doesn't know how to make it work with his new number

Hey everyone! Thanks @KAPABLE-K
Just to clarify, you'll need to register to MyAccount again using your email.
We've made some recent changes on MyAccount this year and so if you ever have issues logging into MyAccount, you can try the steps below.
From a computer, open up Fido.ca.
1) Click on "Log In / Register" on the top-right corner
2) Click on "New to Fido? Register Now"
3) Enter your email in the top bar
You'll receive a link by email in the next minutes, to reset your password.
If you ever get an error message when opening up the link, I'd suggest to copy-paste the link & open up in a seperate web page.
I hope the step-by-step above was helpful for some 😃
@Lm92 If you had register the online account with a phone number an dnot an email then you will need to re-register the online account with the new number.

is there any way Fido can change the MyAccount login from my phone number to an email user id through the back end with out changing my sign in password?
Hey @Paolo,
You can definitely change to an email log in. You can actually do this yourself on fido.ca. As long as you're not signed in, click on My Account, and then click on Register Now. You'll then be able to enter your email address and create your own personal password.
*** Important note: When you register with your email address and come back to the Community, you'll be asked to re-register to the Community. If you do register with your email address, please send me a PM from your new profile and let me know so that I can connect your new user ID to your old Community profile. ***
Let me know if you have any questions!
I was kinda hoping to NOT have to re-register a new password, my old password is just fine and your website has a new password rule meaning that I can not use my existing password if i re-register because it now requires numbers. I want to streamline my password record keeping and have safe but difficult to remember passwords but have a consistantcy between them, oh well I guess I will keep the phone number sign in untill the change is forced. Yes I am also aware the phone number login is a grandfathered system back from the old Microcell days and you guys want everyone to ideally create an email based login because to use your portal for other lines of business like internet modems, etc and your sister company Rogers also uses this too
Welcome to the community @Lm92!
Are you able to reset your password on Fido.ca? What error message do you get when you try to log in?
