Hi,
My wife and I have fido account each, and it would be better if we have two lines under the one account in terms of accumulating Fido dollars as my wife is going to upgrade her device soon.
We both have month to month plan. Can we merge our account into one account as well as Fido dollars?
Thanks!

Hi there aaa123213,
Yes it's possible. Simply give us a call and submit your request. The process will be quicker if you have your wife with you when you call us.
And yes your FidoDollar balances will be combined.
I have two prepaid accounts, is it possible to merge one of them into another? Can I combine FidoDollars together?
Hi wendy20132,
This option for mergining accounts and FidoDollars is only available for monthly accounts and not for prepaid account

Hello FidoFaiza,
Your confirmation is helpful. To make my life easier I want to merge two monthly accounts that are not under contract (my account and my wife's account). I am glad to know that our fido dollars would not be lost in the merge.
Can you tell me if there are any upgrading or downgrading restrictions that would exist following the merger of the accounts?
Cory.
Hey CoryMacculloch and welcome to the Community
To merge to accounts, you would have to do a transfer of responsability either from your wife's account or from yours.
Once that number is fully tranferred, then this phone number is considered as a new activation.
The phone number needs to be active for at least 90 days to before you can upgrade. That would be the only restriction that you would have there.
If you have any account related questions or need clarification about this, don't hesitate to reach us either on Twitter or Facebook.
Hope this helps
As of Nov 2016, does this method still work so that Fido dollar can be merged into one account?
In addition, with regarding the 90 days period, what's the consequences if ppl decided to port that newly activated line out?
Hey @Illiop,
And welcome to our Community
You can still do a Transfer of Responsibility and merge the FidoDOLLARS together if there are no active numbers left if the old account being transferred.
As for your second question, there will be no consequence unless of course, there's a tab24 agreement and then buy out fees would apply.
The 90 day period restriction is only applicable to Hardware Upgrades though.
Hope this helps!
