Hello Nothappy1709,
Are your referring to purchasing the phone from Fido or somewhere else? If from Fido, are you trying to use FidoDollars? Purchasing it outright?
If you're getting the phone from somewhere else, you'll want to verify the version of the LG G3. I believe Fido uses the Canadian D852 version. There may be other versions of that phone with compatible bands/frequencies. You can verify the compatible bands/frequencies here.
One caution regarding Verizon phones. They may need to be activated on the Verizon network before being able to be used on different networks.
You might also verify whether the size of your current SIM would fit the LG G3. I believe the it uses a micro SIM.
Assuming you have an unlocked phone with compatible bands/frequencies, you should be able to just insert your SIM and you'd be good to go.
Are there any particular hassles you're concerned about?
Hope this helps!
Cheers

As long as the phone is unlocked if not from fido and it has the compatible bands that Fido uses then you will have no isses.
Your device must be compatible with the Fido network, which uses GSM, UMTS, HSPA and HSPA+ at 850 MHz and 1900 MHz. To access LTE network, the phone must be compatible with:
