Blocking text messages

How to block text messages...it used to be easy but now too complicated. Please really need to know asap. Thanks

Hi

There is another way if the above option doesn't work for you can text the word xtreme to 4716 go to the provided link then go to text blocker and enter the number that way as well

Android 6

1. Go into Messages, then tap on "More" in the top right corner and select More -> Settings
   
2. Go into Block messages/Spam filter
3. Tap on Manage spam numbers
   
4. Here you can add any numbers or contacts you wish to block you can also block by phrase.

Android 5

1. Open “Messaging“.
2. Press the “Menu”  icon located at the upper-right corner.
3. Select “Blacklist“.
4. Set “Blacklist” to “On“, then select the plus (+) to add a person to block.
5. Type the number you wsih to block. Check “Block incoming calls” and/or “Block incoming messages” as desired, then select “OK“.
6. If you wish to remove a number from Blacklist, select the number, then choose “Delete“.
