i learned the hard way that if you work out an offer over the phone from fido, it expires as soon as you hang up. This is what I've been told by customer service when I called back to pick up from an offer a few days previous. Then the agent gave more a new worse offer and told me that if I didn't take it the offer wouldn't be available next time I call in because of "fluctuating market conditions".
I've been a customer for over 20 years and I've never had to deal with this new strategy from fido. If you are looking to switch your package and you are a long time customer, beware.
