Android update for HTC One S

Question:

I have an HTC One S, which Fido supplied.

Earlier today the phone told me that it had received a software update.

Please tell me about the update: is it an Android version? If so, which one? How will this new version help me? What do I need to learn to do in order to take advantage of this update?

Thanks.

So what is the latest Android version for HTC One S and how do I upgrade to it?

Hello again,

Does your phone have HTC Guide installed? If you do have the app installed, you should be able to update the phone's software under Support --> Software update.

**edit** Alternatively, if you go to Settings --> General --> About Device --> Check for updates**

Hope this helps Smiley

Thanks for the replies it has the latest version installed 4.1.1

Hey @Raffy

The latest Android upgrade for the HTC One S is : Android OS, v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), upgradable to v4.1.1 (Jelly Bean)

 Hope this helps Smiley
