Hi,
I bought a new number from the Fido kiosk at Square One several days ago, and the salesman at the time helped me subscribe to a BYOP plan and showed me on his PC screen that he was removing the $30 activation fee since I was a new customer.
Though when the bill came out, the fee was still there. Chatted with customer service online, and they advised that I go back to the store since they don't have such a promotion. When I went back to the store again, a different rep told me that I have to wait for a few billing cycles before that fee is waived.
Can anyone advise if this is the case?
Thanks,
-Gus
Hey @Gus99
Welcome to the Community!
On our side, we don't have any promotion like that.
There is some discounts that are added after a couple of billing cycles though, it's something common.
Did they mention how many cycles?
He said 3 or 4. He asked me to report back to the store if it didn't happen.
I guess I will give it a shot and see.
Thanks,
-Gus
