I've been with Fido almost a decade, I have a decent plan from back then. Back then you'd buy your data separate from your plan, so when I go to upgrade it says I have a small plan without data or voice. When they calculate what my discount on a new phone should be they don't account that I'm paying as much as a medium plan. Last time I had to: get a phone I didn't want, sell it, then buy the phone I did want on craigslist and sell my old phone. A total hastle. But this time it doesn't even look like I can do that because Fido doesn't want to give me any credit for my plan. They act like there's no competition, that all the companies are the same. I have a good deal lined up if I can't get anywhere with them. It is really getting to be less worth it sticking with Fido.
