I signed up with fido assuming it was 10 gigs total. It seems that it is just 5 gigs with 1 free hour every day 5 times a month.
What kind of nonsense is that.
Seems like I'll be returning the phone and breaking contract to go to freedom instead.
Solved! Go to Solution.
I went into a kiosk. I opted for the 85/month since I wanted a new phone.
Does it switch to being 10/gig a month or stays as the silly "freebytes for an hour"?
The other 5gb will automatically be added by Fido but it can take 2-3 billing cycles before its added.
It is possible if you talk to customer service they can add it right away.
I was under the impression it was solely a 5gig + 5 hours thing per month. If it switches over to full 10 gigs, that would be great. I'll give them a call thanks.
It will eventually show up, just not right away. You may have to wait a couple bills. The plan is 10GB *plus* the bonus five hours of data. Far better than Koodo/Rogers/Telus/Virgin/Bell
