I am an existing customer and thought I would upgrade my account online since the mall Fido has a waiting line down the corridor. But when I click on the $60 deal I keep ending up having to log in and then there isn't any options to change the plan, just profiles and such. Ive been on live chat hold for almost an hour waiting for a customer rep. This is nuts. When I got to the sales person in the mall, he told me because I was already a customer he wouldn't be able to do it and I would have to call Fido myself. He also said it would be faster to go to one of the other carriers like Rogers or Bell and switch carriers because they can activate it. But then I would also incur a activation charge. Incredibly frustrating
I have tried numerous attempts to call and online chat to no avail. I started on Saturday, Sunday and even Monday and still no answer. No calls to through. I went online to see if I can do it myself and there was no selection for to choose the $60 10gb plan. This is very frustrating. I have been with Fido for 13 years and this is the worse experience I have had.
I had the identical experience to you. Unable to complete the plan change online, unable to reach a human on their circular telephone exchange. I would either end up back at the start menu or the call would simply disconnect. Was going to upgrade all the plans in our home.
I’m a customer for over 10 years n can’t even get to talk to a representative from since last week Wednesday 13 2017. When I do get through. I’m going to cancel my plan if they don’t give me the $60 deal. Called over 200 times and can’t get no answer
I’ve tried everything to connect. Nothing. Chat is down. Twitter is non responsive. Mobile. Nope. Website. Can’t even log in.
I get it, you’re busy. But wow, if going to Rogers is more likely to succeed, why would I even bother trying with Fido anymore. It’s like they’ve turned the system off to just run down the clock and then tomorrow reply to everyone saying: sorry the promotion ended.

From BC and still unable to change my plan online. I have been trying since yesterday for 4 hours and this morning another 2 hours.

I was trying to do it online as well as an upgrade but I wasn’t able to get through. However, as I was browsing around on the Fido my account page I was able to change my plan to 5gb $60 plan. Now the question is, I haven’t got any confirmation email from Fido and does this plan include 5gb bonus for 24 months? If not how can I get the $60 10gb plan. I have been loyal Fido user since last 10 years. Hope you value the loyalty and offer us a better deal.
I've been having this same issue. I can't connect to the chat and I'm waiting on the facebook messenger. Why have the option to "change your account" online when it doesn't actually work
AGREED!!! I think I’ll change carriers after this stunt by Fido.
It's a bad way to get people to look up Fido. No chat, no website or phone service available. Even 611 is down. Why even waste money start a plan
