I was one of the winners of a $500 Air Canada e-Gift card from this contest.  I claimed the e-gift card shortly after winning and figured that the e-gift card number and PIN would be available in MyFido until I was ready to use it (ie. similar to an email inbox).  Unfortunately, the contest page has now expired out of MyFido. Is there a specific email address or phone number I can call at Fido for my inquiry?  Note that I already contacted Air Canada Gift Card Support at the email address provided when I won the gift card but was referred back to Fido Xtra.  Thanks!

Hi all, I did call in the same day I posted, an escalation case was created for me, and I was told to wait 4 weeks for a callback.  Long story short is that there is nothing that can be done, so I will have to chalk this up to experience.  It was naive of me to believe the gift card code would stay in MyFido indefinitely and dumb of me not to record the gift card number and PIN elsewhere.  The winner here is Air Canada, as they have received $500 for a gift card that will never be redeemed.

 

The Fido agent wanted to give me a bill credit but the system would not allow it since I am already on a promotional plan that entails a bill credit.  I was offered 5GB bonus for two months but decided to just forego that and move on.  Bottom line is that I did not get to use a prize that I won ... there are bigger problems out there!
