"Error - Installation failed. Try later (-2)"

Trying to install some new apps but I keep received "Error - Installation failed. Try later (-2).

I have a Samsung Galaxy Q.  I've tried "later" and have also tried turning off the phone and removing battery.  Never have had issues before so not sure if it's my settings?  I do have space on my SD card.

In that case I would need to refer you directly to Samsung. You can reach them at 1-800-SAMSUNG (726-7864)

Hi guys,

 

First thing I would suggest is clearing the Google Play Store cache. This would be in Settings, then go to Apps > All > Google Play Storeand hit "Clear Cache" as well as "Clear Data". I would suggest doing the same in Apps > Download Manager (clear cache may be greyed out, but clear data should do the trick).

Thankyou for your response.  I don't have Google Play Store.. been downloading directly from Samsung Apps on my phone, so I don't have the options as mentioned to delete my cache or data.
