There's been quite a few complaints from Fido users regarding their data usage suddenly spiked.
The link below is a potential cause of data spike through updating the Facebook app and applies to both Apple and Andriod users and offers a solution.
As always data overage protection is the user's responsibility and not Fidos, do your homework and make sure your phones are the correct settings and apps to monitor data usage to prevent exorbant data overage!

Too bad that in a week from now this valuable info will be lost in the forum. Would be nice if this info and a lot of other info that you all have posted and which are buried in the forum would be together in a single sticky thread.
This was the first thing i researched when face book started that auto play videos automatically, i googled how to turn it off, turned it off on my ipod, ipad, and iphone, as well as my android. so far so good, consumers please be advised to check your settings two
