How do I access DeviceAdvice in the newest version of MyAccount?

I have been having a lot of issues with my text messages lately, so I reported the issues using the MyAccount app. The response said that they couldn't find any issues with the network and that I should use DeviceAdvice to see if the issue is with my device. I can't find DeviceAdvice anywhere within the app and nothing in the forums here or online can help me. The only posts are from 2016 when DeviceAdvice was rolled out and the app has been completely redesigned since then. The "Help" section of the menu where DeviceAdvice lived doesn't exist anymore. Can anyone tell me where to find DeviceAdvice? Thanks in advance.

I am sorry to learn you are having troubles with your text messages.

 

As for DeviceAdvice, it is a feature that has indeed been discontinued on the latest app versions. I double-checked on my phone and couldn't locate it either. That said, we would be happy to look into this with you.

 

We would need more information though. Can you please answer the following questions: 

 

  • Are you unable to send SMS or MMS?
  • Which device do you use?
  • Are all your other services working fine?
  • Have you tested your SIM card in another device to see if the situation reproduces?
