I updated my Visa card information in the fido app and it showed in the app that my card is successfully updated and in the given date, your bill payment is deducted from your card but it's not deducted. in the next month, i charged with two months payment plus 75 dollars extra for late payment. so, l pay extra 75 dollars for nothing. Very poor service.

Hello Rajatsharma0799,
Welcome to the community!
Firstly, you should note these forums are community-driven and not intended as a venue for customer services. We do not have access to customers' accounts nor would we know the details of your particular situation.
I understand you received an additional charge on your line. However, did it specify it was a late payment charge? Fido does charge fees for late payment. Though, it is generally as follows:
~taken from Terms of Service; section 3c
The fee you note sounds like it could have been a Returned Payment fee (see here). I understand your credit card information was updated by the given date. However, are you referring to the payment due date? If so, you should note that payments to credit cards would be applied approximately 14 days after the bills are issued (see here). On the other hand, the payment due date is 21 days after billing cycle ends (see here). So payment would be charged to your credit card (or attempted to be charged) before that payment due date. If they attempted to get payment before you updated your card details, that could account for the charge. If that were the case, you would have needed to have made a manual payment after you updated the information as the pre-authorised payment would have been already attempted.
Alternatively, if it was your first time setting up pre-authorised payments, you should note it may take up to one full billing cycle for your first pre-authorized payments withdrawal. They recommend that if you have a balance due on your account, you also need to make a one-time payment to avoid late payment fees. Though, those fees would be as outlined in the Terms of Service.
If you would like to discuss your situation, you would need to contact customer service.
Hope this helps 😀
Cheers
