5 hours of data once limit reached

Hi there,

My service is set up to cut off data before going over the limit. As a result, the my account app won't log in over data. And I still have 5 unlimited one-hour sessions but you can only activate them when you're not on Wi-Fi.

This creates a conundrum because I can't use a feature of the plan I purchased. I wish there were a way to activate your 5 hour session over text. I believe it would help those of us who have fallen through the cracks created by the system which relies on data to provide data.

With the current plans that cut the data off when you reach your limit even if you could activate the one-hour free data by text it still would not work because the data on your account would not be active. 


While Fido offers five hours of free data each billing cycle it is meant to be used while you have a data connection it's not meant to be used after you used all your data and then do not have a data connection. While the system can differentiate the difference between using your regular data and the five hours of free data it will not override the data block when you used up all your data and it gets cut off.
