Motorola Razr HD LTE drops out of LTE when on voice call

Just wondering if someone could provide feedback on this "problem".  Whenever I make a voice call, if the phone is showing LTE it drops down to H+.  Is this a problem at all or normal behavior?

Also, the phone has had days where it doesn't seem to connect to LTE at all.  I recently had it reset on the network and it seems to be fluctuating between LTE and H+ where earlier I remember it being more consistently on LTE.  Location where I'm typically using it is in Toronto, between downtown and Oakville.

Thanks,

Theo

Hey theok65!

This is absolutely normal. The LTE network is for data usage only. During a call, the phone will always drop from LTE to the best connection available, usually HSPA+.

As for the connection to the LTE network, this could be due to multiple factors like network traffic (which has increased within the last few months with our new LTE devices) or new developments in your area (new buildings may affect your reception).

I hope this helps!
