My E71 has an email button and a configuration wizard for adding email to the phone. Can this be done with a Telus email account?
I'm having a horrible time reading my Telus email through MyTelus webmail. The page layout on my screen is a mess. The only way I've been able to read the emails is to click on the radio button and click 'reply'. The text content finally shows and I can at least read what's been sent.
I'm just looking for a way to send and receive email simply while on the road.

I have a data plan (100 MB/mo) but will have to get the mail settings from telus.

A clerk at a Fido Kiosk couldn't help me but a clerk at a Telus kiosk set up my email right away. I now get email notifications and downloads to my E71 but can't send them. Any suggestions? I don't have a handle on what all the configuration settings should be. The E71 manual is useless.

go into the email account settings ( search outbound or sending menu )
your smtp maybe incorrect.....if knowledge serves me correctly....the smtp for fido should be gprs.fido.ca...i dont believe a port number is necessary but if the handset ask then try port 25.

Are you suggesting I use GPRS.fido.ca instead of telus.net for the sending smtp?
