Iphone 6 with European SIM

Planning a trip to Europe in May. I plan to unlock my iphone 6 here and purchase an EU SIM when I get there.

I understand I need to reset the phone here before I leave but what will happen when EU SIM is installed? Will I need to reset it again. I may not have very good wifi to do this. My hope is once unlocked the EU SIM would just work without hassle? Thanks

Hello. If you unlock your iPhone or phone in Canada before you leav the country you don’t need nothing to do. Only you have to is put new SIM cards in the phone and doesn’t matter where you are . If it is GSM SIM card you phone will work in all provider in the planet. Let me know if your issue is resolved.

To complete an iPhone unlocking, you'd need to restore it. You only need to do that once though so you can do that while you're still in Canada. You wouldn't need to do it again when you leave the country.
