Questions about blacklisting Fido iPhones.

Hi there, I'm a Fido subscriber.

I purchased an iPhone SE from someone that bought the phone from Fido about 3 weeks ago. He decided to go with a larger phone. It came with the original box and accessories (with matching serial) so I believe it was a legitimate transaction.

If he decides to stop paying the account associated with the iPhone he purchased -- would Fido blacklist this iPhone? Is this something I need to be worried about?

Hello @johnsonmoving welcome to the community!

You can have the original owner transfer the phone to you by calling Fido and let them know you will be the new owner of the phone and Fido will register the phone under your account.

Fido will not blacklist a phone because of non-payment, the phone can be blacklisted if it was lost or stolen but only if the owner calls and request it.
