Acer Liquid E Upgrade

I tried to upgrade to 2.2 and my phone died. Can't even turn it on now. I followed all the instructions and even had my teenage daughter standing over me to make sure I wasn't screwing up. So the phone just died and I am not a happy camper. Right now it's plugged in and there's no charge icon lit. I took out the battary and put it back. Nothing.

Anyone know what happened here?

Okay I took out everything, sim, sd card, and battery, and put it back in, that did it. The phone works, but no upgrade. I will go through the fourm and read up on things.

The files I dragged over to my sd card originally, use up alot of space, can I safely delete those and start over?

Sorry if this sounds dumb but I am not a tech savvy person, but am very good at following directions and I like to ask questions.

Hello donna,

If you had a pattern lock on your Android phone and you're having trouble retrieving your pattern lock your phone will ask you for your gmail account information.

You have 2 options from here:

1- You can either locate you gmail account by visiting http://www.gmail.com

Click on can't access your account?

Here is the direct link:  https://www.google.com/accounts/recovery?continue=http%3A%2F%2Fmail.google.com%2Fmail%2F%3Fui%3Dhtml...

If you don't remember you can click on Forgot your username and follow the instructions to retrieve your credentials.

Once retrieve use information to unlock your phone.

2- You can go ahead and master reset your phone back to factory settings

CAUTION: This will erase all current content on the device.

Here are the steps:

Turn off your phone, press and hold the Power key until you feel your smartphone vibrate and/or you see the Acer logo screen. Press and hold the volume up and volume down buttons. Use the volume up button to select “Clean boot: Yes”. Press the camera button to confirm.
