Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro - Facebook problem and inability to turn off phone

Hi new Fido customer here 

So I have my own internet connection at home, which allows my phone to connect to WiFi. I was told that with WiFi, I will no have unlimited social networking and browsing with no extra fee. However, when I'm connected, I cannot connect to Facebook Mobile that is in the default panel. The only way I can connect to FB is through having to open a internet browser. There are also some sites that I am restricted to visiting with WiFi. I can get access to Twitter fine but I can't with FB... and if the only way to connect to FB is through internet, why not have the option for the Internet icon available for the default panel.

Also, simple question but.. How do I turn off my phone - as in put it into sleep , or just simply turn the whole device off.. Lol 

And I'd like to know how I can get access to Windows Live or Skype if that's possible with the Sony Vivaz Pro...

How do I turn off my phone : refer to your user manual ( button is located behind the phone, right above the camera )...how ridiculous is that...gotta hand it to those sony markleting people...lol

Since the sony vivaz pro is considered a feature phone / instant messaging phone, in order for you to upload your pics to facebook....you'll need to download an FB app for that...unfortunately...FB only released this app for Mobilicity so far...

Windows Live : again..you will need to see if Microsoft created an app like Facebook ( google it )

Skype : again..you will need to google it

Welcome to the Fido technical community,

The Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro is a device that will allow you to only use the browser on WIFI every other application will work on the mobile internet. Therefore you will need a data plan for the reset of the application. I am unsure about SKYPE and WIndows Live as these application do not come by default on this device.

Please be also advised that not every single web based page will launch on a mobile device.

As per Silentbuddha, The power button is located in the back on the back cover.
