I have a Galaxy Nexus in Calgary and I have never had it connect for more than 10 seconds to HSPA anywhere I travel in the city. Generally it sits on 3G and then every minute or so it attempts to connect to HSPA before dropping back to 3G.
I checked the phone and can't find any setting to force it to HSPA. When I called Fido for help they were the opposite of helpful (Their response was 3G was just as good as HSPA). Just wondering if anyone out there has a Galaxy Nexus (or any other phone) and have it successfully connects to HSPA?
Thanks.

Thanks for the response. I guess more specifically if 3G and HSPA are the same then what are the differences between when my phone says it's connected to '3G' and when it's connected to 'HSPA'? It constantly changes between the two?
