  Welcome to the community!

 

  It sounds like your phone is locked. Prior to December 1st, 2017, Fido can provide you with the code to unlock the phone for $50. After that date, there should be no charge to unlock your phone. You can get more info about unlocking your phone here.

 

  To request your unlock code, you would need to contact customer service or send a moderator a PM.
