i have purchased an unlocked iphone4 only to realise that they need the new mini micro sim card

how can i get one of these and how much will it cost me??

Not  sure how much they cost at fido,

But you can cut your old sim card  to fit the new iphone 4

You can see some videos on youtube for that.

You can buy a sim card adaptor on ebay , they will provide u with a decal to stick on your original sim , and cut where its traced. The adaptor that comes with it , is in case you want to use the micro sim car in a regual iphone.

well i already cut my sim, and my iphone says that there is no sim detected

Hi Ranih,

I would like to advice against cutting down a Sim Card to fit, and there are many reasons for this, including the possibility of damaging your phone.  The proper thing to do is go to your local Fido dealer and purchase an iPhone 4 SIM card.  It will only take a few minutes to get you up and running.

@Pat1::: Seriously, it boggles my mind why you would suggest someone BUY something on E-Bay so they can modify a SIM card, when the SIM card only costs $10 brand new.

Hi, I'm already a fido subscriber and i'm planning to buy an unlocked iphone 4. If I buy a microsim from fido, Is it possible for fido to place my same fido mobile number into the micro sim?

Hi 654321,

We do realize people may loose or damage their sim cards at some point, so rest assured, you CAN EASILY transfer your phone number from your current SIM to the MicroSIM.  The only cost you will incur is the cost of aquiring the MicroSIM if anything.
