Rest password via email

My phone is not able to receive text messages where I am due to poor reception - is it possible to have my online account password rest EMAILED to me rather than getting a text message?

Please use plain text.

Hi chamitin,

Thanks for participating in our Technical Community!

Our community is dedicated to technical issues.

I recommend contacting our Fido Live Chat on Monday, where a representative will be able to help you out.

You can reach them on fido.ca through the my account section.

Or, you can send us an email through our contact us page.

And don't forget to click Accept as Solution in the options drop-down menu once you've received the answer you were looking for; it'll help our community grow stronger.

Re: Rest password via email

Hello 5678,

When did this problem start happening for you?
Are you in an area that offers full coverage?
Do you have full signal?
Were there any recent account changes made?

Just a couple of things to ask yourself. The one thing I always suggest is to turn your phone off and on and try it. If that does not work pull the battery off the back of your phone for about 30 seconds then put it back and try again, If still no success give Fido a call at 1-888-481-3436
Just a friendly reminder....it is always best to be calling from another phone (not your cell phone) so that the agent can run tests on your phone while you are on the line with them.
