I’m looking to buy the LG Gossip but I listen to a lot of MP3's, can you expand the memory?

Yes it is its expandable up to 4GB via Micro SD.

I'm confused about memory upgrade for this phone. 4gb of Micro SD is supposed to be the limit yet Bestbuy and Future Shop both offer 8gb modules as recommended accessories. If 4gb is in fact the limit then can I use Micro SDHC modules or will it only accept older Micro SD modules which to my understanding only had max capacity of 2gb?

Hello ReganD,

Welcome to the Fido Technical community,

The LG Gossip support microSD(up to 4GB) Anything over that will not work and the SD card will not be readable on the device.In addition buying recommended accessory of 8GB from Future shop or Best Buy will not work for this device.

Concerning the Micro SDHC it should work as long as you are not using higher then 4GB.

Hi! Please help!! I've had this phone for a moth now... At first. I'm able to use internet on this phone BUT after some time it show INSUFFICIENT MEMORY.. UNABLE TO PROCEED!! It has a 1GB external mem... What do I do? Will putting a higher memory help? Thanks..
