I just signed up for $30 unlimited incoming plan and notice that incoming calls from overseas are showing up on display as a 647 local number. I called Fido customer support but he didn't know anything. I asked to speak to supervisor but he said he already did and that technical support said "there was nothing wrong with the phone". He asked me to wait and see if it happens again. This does not quite answer my question.
Anyone out there can enlighten me on this? I'm a Fibo newbie and concerned whether I should keep the service. Thanks.

it could very well just be a problem on the calling party's side too. ive had 647/416 number show up on international calls once or twice, but it stopped happening, it could be how the call was routed, or if the ppl used some kind of calling card or special long distance plan, etc.. no real answer why it happens as there is many facters. i wouldnt worry bout it
