Using Fido Sim Card with Rogers locked iPhone 6

This question has been asked before, maybe things have changed.

Question: Can i use an initially Rogers ''locked'' iPhone 6 using a Fido nano sim card - without unlocking the iPhone 6 from Rogers.

Many many people out there affirm that Rogers/Fido always work without unlocking - as long as the sim is from Rogers or Fido.

Here is another question then : does a Fido locked iPhone 6, etc. ... work with a Rogers Sim card?

A Rogers phone will have to be unlocked in order to accept a Fido sim card, and vice-versa.

Keep in mind all phones can now be unlocked at no charge. All you need to do is get in touch with the original provider and they'll complete the unlocking for you.
