Hey Community!

We all know that one person who can never remember their password, right? Ok, likely more than one person.

Well, good news for everyone; you can now log into My Account using your Facebook credentials! That’s one less username and password to remember. Pretty cool eh?

It’s simple, convenient, and it makes life easier. It’s available to all login types (phone number, group ID, email), customer types (monthly and prepaid), as well as to the account holder and subscribers. Easier access for everyone!

Here’s how it works:

  1. Go to fido.ca or the My Account app on Android or iOS, and login with your existing Fido info.
  2. Go to the Profile & Settings tab (Profile on the Appand click Link Account.
  3. Enter your Facebook info and click Log in
  4. Going forward, click on Log in with Facebook from the login window to access My Account.

It’s that simple Smiley

Cool! Now when someone reports you account to Facebook and they cancel it without explanation, you can also be locked out of your Fido account!

(Yes, that was sarcasm. I can't think of any reason why someone would use Facebook to log anywhere other than Facebook...)

Hey ZYX,

While it might not be useful to some, it may very well be useful to others. Thanks for you sharing your feedback though!

Before I worry about Facebook, I have to figure out how to answer the people that commented on my question.

I doubt that I'll signup with Facebook as I'm already receiving too much junk ads and promos.
